- Get 2 kg Soup Bone (see pic)
- Take Enough water to boil the meat
- Prepare Step 2 Spices
- Get 4 Star Anise
- Take 4 Cardamoms

- Prepare 2-3 tbsp Kurma powder (see pic)

- Prepare 3 big potatoes - cut into cubes
- Take 1 tbsp rice flour/corn flour
- Take To taste - Chicken Seasoning powder
- Get To taste - salt
Mutton bones are cooked in a bright reddish-pink chili sauce, which does not taste at all spicy and does not look at all natural. Sup tulang is one of those humble Malay dishes that visitors tend to overlook. It's not as visually seductive as a lovely hibiscus-colored curry or as intriquing as blue rice tossed with dry-fried coconut, chili, and a riot of herbs. Meat soup is what sup tulang is, basically.

- Prepare all ingredients: 1. Clean meat then boil until tender. Make sure enough water covering the meat. Using fine sieve, Remove all the grimes on the surface of the meat soup in between boiling. Once boiled, then simmer over medium heat. Meantime, prep the rest. 2. Blend ingredients. 3. Prep carrot & potatoes. 4. Dilute rice flour/corn flour in a 1/2 cup of cold water.
- Preheat 2-3 tbsp of cooking oil before adding ingredients in step 2. Fry for a minute or less then add ingredients from step 3, keep stirring until translucent & aromatic. Turn off the heat. Pour this into meat pot & stir to combine.
- Add in ingredient from step 4. Season to taste. Let this bone/meat soup simmer to perfection.
Sup tulang (pronounced: soup too-lung) is the Malaysian/Singaporean version of bone broth. Bone soup is the literal translation of sup tulang. Unlike Western-style bone broth, this sup tulang is infused with aromatic herbs and spices, giving a wonderful depth of flavour and smell to it. It is a very versatile recipe as it works just as.
