  6. Now add boiled Turnips (shaljam) and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Shaljam palak (Turnips spinach) is ready to serve.

Add turnips and hot water; stir well. Cover and bring to a boil. Add brown sugar and coarsely mash the turnips.
