Spring Peas is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It’s simple, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. They are fine and they look wonderful. Spring Peas is something that I have loved my whole life.

The pea Spring plant is a medium sized variety with heart-shaped leaves and classic legume flowers. Nothing says spring like the bright green and gentle sweetness of fresh peas. These versatile vegetables taste great in a whole slew of preparations.

To get started with this particular recipe, we have to prepare a few ingredients. You can have spring peas using 6 ingredients and 2 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Spring Peas:
  1. Take 1 bag Frozen peas
  2. Prepare 1 large onion Sliced
  3. Get Dash sea salt
  4. Take Dash fresh ground Pepper
  5. Prepare 1-2 tablespoons Lemon juice
  6. Prepare Oil I used 1 tablespoon of sesame oil

The green pea deserves your full attention, like now. They recommend that you do not substitute bacon for the pancetta as the smoky flavor would overwhelm the peas. The unsmoked pancetta really balances the sweetness of the new peas. You can substitute frozen petite green peas for the fresh.

Instructions to make Spring Peas:
  1. In a medium hot pan sear sliced onions Add peas, lemon juice, and seasonings Turn heat on low…. Sauté until tender and warm… I use Lemon Juice in my green veggies. I actually helps to keep the beautiful color Unless the veggie is cooked to mush. 😊 Then the veggie will make a great soup😄👍🏼
  2. Potatoes are Russet all purpose potatoes Cleaned not peeled Sliced not to thin not too thick Place in a bowl, Drizzle olive oil, over sliced potatoes, Season with salt and pepper With your hands toss to mix.. Pour onto a cookie sheet Bake at 425 degrees for about ten minutes Turn over then continue to cook another 10-15 minutes. Optional: Sometimes I sprinkle finely shredded cheese over the top and place back in oven until cheese melts. You may also like to use with real bacon bits you have cooked. Here are some more tips on when to start planting peas. Garden peas (Pisum sativum L.) are cool-season crops that can not stand the heat and humidity of summer, but they CAN withstand frosts and light freezes. For that reason, we all plant the seeds very early in the winter/spring, as soon as the ground can be worked. Sweet peas, pea shoots, and a sprinkle of lemon zest give this light, just-creamy-enough chowder an extra dose of freshness. While cod might be a more traditional chowder choice, we love halibut.
