  1. Wash and Peel your sweet potatoes. Cut your potatoes into thin pieces (I laid my potatoes horizontally and sliced them. I then took the sliced pieces and cut them vertically to form shoe string fries).
  2. Heat your oil. Test your oil to see if it is ready by placing one fry into the pan. If the oil is hot enough the potatoes will start to cook (you should see bubbles forming around it).
  3. Place your fries carefully into the hot oil and fry until your potatoes float to the top and are crispy.
  4. Place your cooked fries onto a heat resistant dish and drain the oil (It's easy to place a paper towel on your dish beforehand as this will drain the oil for you).
  5. Immediately pour the caramel sauce over the hot fries and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Enjoy!
