I didn't grow up eating it - growing up in Vermont, I think my only exposure to okra was the one or two little pieces you find in some canned vegetable soups.   5. If you are adding curd rise flame again and stir it fastly if you r adding lemon juice add in last when you off the flame and if you are adding dry mango pwder add it when okra cook till 80%
  6. Serve it with chapati.
