I tend to make quick bread in these miniature loaves enjoying one and gifting or freezing remaining loaves. In the bread machine, however, slack doughs knead very nicely, and the resulting loaf is full of coarse holes and light as a feather. I pulled the bread out about five minutes after it finished because I saw the bread had raised to Charlie's dome and the very top of the bread was very white. However, the sides where the standard bread should rise to was a nice dark brown.

Darker than it is with honey. Maybe because of the molasses in the brown sugar made it that way. Flour a flat surface and knead with whole wheat flour until not real sticky - just pulling away from the counter, but still sticky to touch.
